Similan Seven Sea Club wants you to get the most out of your Koh Tachai Day Trip, Our fast transfer speedboat, the Nawanoppa, which in Thai means ‘a new step’, takes only 80 minutes to reach the Koh Tachai where you will board our spacious diving boat, the MV Camic. Shorter times to reach the islands means more time for you to discover all the Similans has to offer whilst staying in comfort once you are there. After a warm welcome aboard the MV Camic and a thorough briefing, snorkel guests depart on the Nawanoppa speedboat to explore the calm, shallow reefs, while divers get ready for their first dive, plunging into the beautiful, cyrstal clear waters of the Andaman Sea. We dive and snorkel in small groups to give you the best possible service and experience.
With an extended surface interval during lunch there is plenty of time to sunbathe on our sun deck, snorkel around the boat or relax with a good book. On some days we can also arrange for beach transfers for those who prefer to feel sand between their toes. Following lunch, snorkelers will once again jet off to another exotic location whilst divers prepare for their second dive into scuba wonderland.
After the day’s excitement, the Nawanoppa is ready and waiting to take you back to Khao Lak, returning at approximately 4:30pm before transfers back to your hotel or resort.
Whether you are passionate about diving, snorkelling or simply whiling away the hours on the beach, operating our day trips this way, we maximise your time to do the things you enjoy most on your trip. This is by far the best way to ensure that everyone will have a fantastic time experiencing the treasures of the Andaman Sea, Thailand.
12 meters below the surface, reaching down to 30-35 meters, this is a beautiful site. It is in the shape of a dome. Site is also known as the DOME.
What can you see here? What can’t you see. You will see Hard corals and sea whips, big schools of Barracudas, Batfish, Tuna, Bluefin Trevally, Snappers, Fusiliers, Triggerfish, Eels, Nudibranchs, to name a few.
But please keep an eye open for something big… Like a Whale Shark or Manta Ray.
