The first rung on the ladder. This 2 ½ day course is perfect for those short on time or not sure they want to commit to the open water course. The course includes pool or confined water practice and 2 dives. Once qualified, divers are certified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
Should you wish to go forward and take the open water course in the future then your scuba diver course counts towards it.
The Scuba Diver course is open to those aged 15 (10 for the junior scuba diver course). It can be completed by joining our one of our Similan day trips or as a 2 days 1 night live-aboard trip on the MV Lapat.

Our boat crews are all experienced, well trained in boat handling, friendly and helpful. The captain is very familiar with the islands and the dive sites as well as all the standard safety procedures. You will have a sincere, warm welcome onboard and be well looked after during your stay on our boat.
