The 52-meter MV Koon9 is a custom-built, steel-hulled Similan and Surin Islands liveaboard boat.
There are 16 twin bed cabins and 4 double bed cabins, both have ensuite bathrooms and seaview windows.
All cabins have air conditioning, private bathrooms with hot water, charging ports, towels, and storage space. Eco-friendly products for use in the bathrooms are included, so we do not pollute the reefs around the islands.
There are eight additional bathrooms with hot water at the back of the boat. The boat has all the necessary safety features, including emergency oxygen and a complete first aid kit, as well as a life raft, life jackets, CCTV, and fire extinguishers.
The upper deck of the boat has an indoor lounge with air conditioning, sofas, and an entertainment system.The dining area is on the same deck, where all our delicious meals are served buffet-style, includes local Thai dishes and western food.
Cookies, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and drinking water are available all day.
The MV Koon 9 has a very experienced 15-boat crew and a captain with experience in the Andaman Sea. The tour leaders are all Similan veterans with multiple years of experience working with us. Our instructors and divemasters are local Thais and various western dive professionals, all experienced tutors and dive guides.
The vast dive platform is located at the rear of the boat, which has a wide and spacious kitting up area on two levels, 2 dive ladders and 2 freshwater showers to rinse yourself or your equipment after diving, and4 large buckets with fresh water for rinsing cameras and personal dive equipment.
Due to the restrictions of having only a limited number of divers on each dive site in the Similan Islands National Marine Park, you need to book Your liveaboard at least 2 to 3 days in advance to avoid disappointment on not diving the day you would like.
