We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and transfer you to the MV Lapat by our speedboat, the Golden Cat. During the day there are two dives before the speedboat returns to land. Once the speedboat has departed there will be less people onboard which makes for a more relaxing atomsphere to enjoy the late afternoon and sunset in the Similans. There is also the opportunity for either a sunset dive or a night dive. Mornings offer a chance to experience a refreshing early dive. On your day of departure you will join those returning on the Golden Cat in the afternoon, arriving back at your hotel approximately 17:30.
MV LAPAT OFFERS A CHOICE OF TWO CABIN TYPES
2 x Master Cabins with en-suite bathroom,
6 x Twin Cabin
All cabins have air conditioning. Master cabins are ensuite and have a double bed. There are four bathrooms on the boat plus outdoor showers. Our Similan liveaboard boat the M/V Lapat has hot showers in the Master cabins, but not in the Twin cabins, we provide you with eco-friendly products to use in the bathrooms, so we do not pollute the reefs around the islands. The boat is equipped with all the necessary safety features, emergency oxygen and extensive first aid kit as well as a life-raft, life jackets and fire extinguishers.
On the upper deck of the boat you will find the dining area where all our delicious meals are served. All food is served buffet-style and is both local Thai dishes and western food. Don’t miss out on our freshly brewed coffee which is a favorite among coffee lovers. On the top level of the boat you will find our huge sundeck which is partly covered and you will find comfortable mattresses to relax on in between the dives.
The MV Lapat has a very experienced boat crew and a captain with more than 30 years of experience in the Andaman Sea. The Tour Leaders are all Similan veterans with multiple years of experience working with us, hugely experienced you can dive knowing you are in good hands. Our instructors and Divemasters are local Thais and various western dive professionals, all experienced tutors and dive guides.
Our prices show the current National Park fees and dive equipment rental prices. National Park fees are mandatory. Should you bring your own dive equipment please deduct the hire fees.
Due to the restrictions of having only a limited number of divers on each dive site in the Similan Islands National Marine Park, you need to book Your liveaboard at least 2 to 3 days in advance to avoid disappointment on not diving the day you would like.
